- Sponsored puppet shows of Taiyuan Puppet Theatre
Company (Taiwan) in Cerritos Public Library and Taiwan
Center of Los Angeles (2006).
- Sponsored and co-produced ‘Finding Home’,
a great musical production by Welly Yang. The life
journey of his family with songs from their ancestral
home of Taiwan. The world premiere was held at UCLA
Royce Hall, a sold out event. This musical has been
world toured in Taiwan, Singapore, and Canada (2005).
- Established the TUF website: www.TUFusa.org (2001)
- Started on-going networking with local museums,
arts and cultural organizations, and academic institutes
(2000).
- Funded Taiwanese American organizations to promote
Taiwanese culture and education (1998- current). Funded
organizations or projects included: Taiwanese American
Citizen’s League, Census 2000, San Diego Taiwan
Center and Taiwanese American Foundation (First Annual
Taiwanese American Humanities and Social Sciences
Conference), Taiwanese Cultural Alliance (Torrance
Festival), Taiwanese American Cultural Association,
Taiwanese Collegian, United Taiwanese Fund (Taiwan
Center), Montreal Taiwanese Choir, Miss. Taiwanese
Americans Boston Intercollegiate Taiwanese Student
Association, Greater Los Angeles Taiwanese American
Heritage Week Celebration, Taiwanese American Heritage
Committee, USA, and Taiwanese American Art Association.
- Campaigned fund raising with the generous donation
of half a million dollars from Mr. Li-Pei Wu, Chairman
& President of General Bank. (1998)
- Hosted “Taiwanese Folk Songs Night”.

- Expanding co-sponsorships of the “Taiwanese
Cultural Night” to major Taiwanese American
organizations and business enterprises. (1996)
- Sponsored a publication of “Taiwan Democratization
Revolution in 20 Century” by Lynn Mile. (1994)
- Sponsored Cho-Liang Lin U.S. debut concert with
the San Diego Symphony (1992).
- Collaborated with American orchestras to perform
music by Taiwanese American composers. Orchestras
included the San Diego Symphony, the Japanese American
Symphony, the Asia America Symphony, and the Redlands
Symphony Orchestra (1991 - current)
- Engaged Southern California business enterprise
sponsorship of all TUF activities especially with
the constant support from General Bank. (1991)
- Premiered music by Taiwanese composers in the United
States: Professor Tyzen Hsiao (Violin Concerto, Cantata,
1947, Piano Concerto) and Golden Chin (Symphony)(1988
– current)
- Sponsored the trip of Lung-Jay Chang to promote
Taiwanese culture heritage in U.S. (1987)
- Hosted annual TUF Taiwanese Cultural Night”
