TUF is an arts and cultural foundation that celebrates Taiwanese American cultural heritages. Established in 1986, the foundation’s mission is to facilitate cultural exchange between the Taiwanese American community and other American cultural communities, hoping to enrich and expand our cultural experiences.

TUF has presented many Great Performance concerts and Cultural Night programs, featuring Taiwanese cuisine, artifacts, indigenous customs, and showcasing bright Taiwanese and Taiwanese American talents in art, film, music and literature. TUF Salons have been held sporadically since 2007.

Collaborating with Taiwan Center Foundation of Los Angeles and other community organizations, TUF is bringing the first Taiwanese Cultural Festival to El Pueblo of Los Angeles on May 10 & 11, 2008. The inaugural
Los Angeles Taiwanese Film Festival and TUF Short Video Contest are currently being planned for the coming October.

TUF Grants provide seed funding to other not-for-profit organizations or individual artists for programs, researches and productions that further TUF’s mission.
